Natural Shredded Rubber Latex - Down Alternative Zipper Pillow

Antibacterial, hypoallergenic and dust mite repellent. An excellent natural alternative to polyester and goose feather down filling, made with shredded latex foam rubber.

One of the most versatile organic pillows:

• You can easily adjust the firmness of this latex pillow using the zipper
• Simply make firmer by adding a small amount of stuffing (purchased separately) through the zippered opening, or softer by removing some of the stuffing
• These latex pillows are filled with brand new Dunlop processed, shredded, certified 100% natural latex which is then hand-stuffed into an organic cotton muslin case

Washable vs non-washable:

• The washable version is made  in such a way that it can withstand the agitation of the washing machine and ensures that the shredded rubber will stay contained by using stronger stitching etc, resulting in the higher cost of the washable version. 
• The non-washable version provides the benefits of the shredded rubber support at a lower cost. However, if you were to wash this version, the stitching is likely to tear and may result in rubber everywhere inside your washing machine
• The shredded rubber is the same in both versions.

Care instructions for non-washable version:

• Consider protecting your pillow in the event of an accident by adding a waterproof pillowcase cover (Related items)
• Do not wash the part of the pillow with the latex stuffing in it
