Waterproof, soft and breathable
Provides a non-sweaty waterproof barrier (as compared to vinyl and rubber):
- Highly absorptive and extra soft
- Made with soft organic cotton flannel on top and organic cotton muslin on bottom with an ultra-thin waterproof polyurethane barrier in the center (if concerned about polyurethane, see Debra Lynn Dadd's response on whether polyurethane is safe)
- Reduces uneven temperatures and clamminess
- Blocks dust-mites and other allergens
Features Naturepedic's technology which effectively blocks liquids from passing through while still allowing the fabric to “breathe.” Some water vapor is allowed to escape resulting in a drier, more comfortable sleep. It is an excellent alternative to vinyl and latex rubber.
