We love this bedframe for its natural grain, sense of style accentuated with angled legs.
This design has the headboard panel standing proud above the mattress - The linear headboard stands 39 1/2″ tall with a 13″ panel while the footboard is 14″ tall with an 5″ panel.
Complete your organic bedroom with a maple/oak wood bed frame made with a natural wood finish. These bed frames are handcrafted in USA using only the finest and simplest materials:
1. Wood
Our bed frames are available from from North American sourced maple or oak:
2. Slats
Note: Natural rubber mattresses require a maximum 2.75" space between each supporting wood slat to properly support it- we advise you purchase an extra set of poplar sets if you sleep on a natural rubber mattress.
3. Weight
We don't list static weight as that's not what breaks a frame.
It's the dynamic weight - e.g., our bedframe can support 6 people getting on the frame slowly vs 1 person 250lbs+ jumping on it
Extra weight support has been included when ordering taller legs all Queen - King/Cal King frames.
4. Finish
Select 'Untreated' or
'Treated' - i.e., to finish the wood, we use Zero VOC, Solvent Free hemp oil.
5. Assembly
The typical height for the bed frame (from the ground to base of the mattress frame) is 11.5"
All frames come with a Center Support, two on Cal King/King
6. Glues
We use Titebond 3 to glue just the headboard panels
The pieces are then fastened using metal hardware, to reduce the use of toxic glues or chemical fasteners.
These four elements come together to form a superior bed frame- ideal for those with chemical sensitivities to toxic glues, laminates and finishes often found in conventional bed frames.
Superior form, superior function, superior strength.
