Low VOC Sub Floor Adhesive

DuraPro AF0036 is an interior flooring adhesive for bonding carpet, sheet covering and vinyl tile to sub-floors made of plywood, hardboard or well-cured concrete.

• non-flammable
• EcoLogo certified (which means the product has low VOC and is free from borax, aromatic solvents, formaldehyde, halogenated solvents, and heavy metals)
• Very low VOC content (1.2g/L)

Coverage: 100-150 sq.ft/gallon (or 3.78 litres)

Why are we suggesting this product?

Many conventional construction products contain Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). These off-gas into the home and can contribute to poor indoor air quality. While not all VOCs are harmful, many are carcinogenic, respiratory irritants, and damaging to the liver and kidneys. They can also contribute to fatigue, brain fog, headaches, and other symptoms. Note: While this product is EcoLogo certified, it does contain boric acid (a hormone disruptor) and some carcinogens in low concentrations.
