Adorable knit socks feature a Bolivian pattern. 50% alpaca 50% llama.
Naturally organic wool is hand shorn from Bolivia's Ilama and alpaca herds. These herds graze the vast slopes of the Andes mountains just as their ancestors have for thousands of years. The wool is hand processed and spun into the fine yarns you see here.
Why Alpaca and Ilama wool?
Hand-knit by native Quechua and Aymara women who are members of independent knitting cooperatives. They knit at home maintaining their traditional lifestyles while generating much needed income.
